One of I’mPOSSIBLE’s primary goals is to connect women and girls of colour globally. A prime way of doing this is through a variety of events:
- The I’mPOSSIBLE. conversation – a series of intimate events where a panel of women of colour (a mix from all walks of life) come together, to share their stories on the theme of ‘how I became POSSIBLE.‘ Pearls of wisdom, observations and testimonies are given through conversations by the panel and the audience becomes inspired by their life journeys. This groundbreaking event gives a platform for various women of colour to learn, share, listen, express, respect and find solutions to life’s quirks on their own terms. See more…
- The I’mPOSSIBLE conversation youth edition – This event ties directly into one of the organisation’s goals of helping to change the lives of girls of colour, by showing others like them what their routes to success. Held in partnership with Diane Abbott MPs ‘Black Women Mean Business‘ (BWMB) initiative in the heart of UK government – the House of Commons, 100 London school girls attend a special youth version to be inspired.
- The I’mPOSSIBLE girl summit – a day of workshops for secondary school age girls helping them to understand, visualise, empower and protect their POSSIBLE.
