What interested you in taking part in the I’mPOSSIBLE conversation?

I have always been impressed by Simone’s dynamism and conviction to promoting women. She has been behind a broad range of interesting projects including  I’mPOSSIBLE.  I attended a previous event and was blown away by the energy and enthusiasm of the night. The women on the panel were outstanding and inspiring – some I had known of and respected but never met. They have gone on to become great friends. The women in the audience are equally inspirational . It was truly a memorable networking experience that exceeded my already high expectations.

What are you most looking forward to about the event?

I am most looking forward to sharing my journey with both the panel and the audience, but more to listen and learn from the other panellists and audience members. I’mPOSSIBLE is an ideal platform to share the peaks and valleys of our experiences. It is also a time to recognise the achievements of some very talented individuals and celebrate those that are at the beginning of their careers yet still have a lot to offer in terms of comments and observations.  Everyone leaves these events feeling motivated and capable of being the best they can possibly be.

What do you hope the audience will take away from the event?

I hope the audience – especially those that have not attended before, experience exactly what I did the first time I came to the event. I hope they feel motivated, inspired, supported, challenged and walk out of the building acknowledging their own self- worth, while appreciating the success of their fellow sisters.

Who on the panel are you most looking forward to meeting/ sharing ideas with?

I am so excited about meeting everyone on the panel. As a fellow journalist and lover of arts and fashion I have always held Hannah Pool in high esteem, and am part of her fan club. However, the awesome talent of the other women on the panel simply fuels my excitement, and I am genuinely looking forward to listening to and sharing with them all.  Should be a great night!
